MARKETING IS LIFE

MARKETING IS LIFE

 MARKETING IS LIFE

When you hear the word "marketing", what comes to mind?  Does the word 'digital' dance in your head? Do you think about those people who seize every opportunity to talk about their products to passengers on the bus?  Probably the mind flashes through those who use the Instagram, Whatsapp and Facebook to showcase their goods and services.

Whichever has come to your mind, Marketing is the activity of presenting, advertising and selling a company's products or services in the best possible ways. A flourishing business is an end product of good marketing. However, the difficulties embedded in meeting targets or deadlines could be the reason some people detest marketing as a profession or task.

Marketing is the life of a business and a business plan without marketing schedule is dead on arrival. Marketing is the nexus between prospect and goal. It is the best way to network goods, services and individuals to those who need them. Marketing is a necessity of life as well as business. If you hate marketing, you must be willing to answer questions like "how do you intend to sell your business idea?" How do you intend to tell a company you are the best for the job?  How do you intend to win a contract without marketing your business idea? How do you intend to convince people to vote for you? Marketing does not only feature you telling people what you sell or sell for a company but what attributes you have as a person. A dirty individual cannot market a product which deals with personal hygiene.

Without any modicum of doubt, everyone needs marketing to grow, expand and to meet the personal target(s). Have you wondered why people claim marketing is hard? Maybe it is but I do know it is important to follow the procedural principles of marketing to meet your target. And nothing happens by chance in marketing. Good marketers believe in their strength, have confidence in their ability and keep a winning spirit. If you believe you can,  you can! That's the strength of a marketer.

Life is a market and every market is either saturated with people or businesses. If you fail to market your business or self,  you will swim in the archive of anonymousness. Have you asked yourself why popular companies keep paying big for marketing; simply put, they want to remain relevant and firm in the competitive market. Why should you hate marketing when your progress depends on it?

When you engage in marketing, you put ideas and experience into a more accurate context. Marketing encourages you to focus on your target, it keeps you in touch with people. Marketing helps you to maintain your name among your competitors.

Marketing is not just about doing the talking, it helps you to build communicative skills, oratory and persuasive power. It helps you to be detailed and to build a strong human network. Marketing is the study and management of exchange relationships.
