COVID-19: Nigeria records 1,303 new cases, total now 124,299
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 1,303 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 124,299.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Tuesday.

The 1,303 new cases are reported from 25 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
Lagos topped the days’ infection chart with 478 new cases followed by FCT -211, Nasarawa -83 and Rivers -72.
Other states with new cases include Kwara -42, Edo -36, Ondo -34, Benue -32, Kaduna -32, Katsina -26, Plateau -26, Kano -25, Taraba -25, Osun -22, Delta -21, Oyo -21, Niger -19, Sokoto -18, Ebonyi -17, Ekiti -14, Gombe -13, Ogun -12, Bauchi -11, Zamfara -8, Borno -4 and Jigawa -1
Till date, 124,299 cases have been confirmed, 99,276 cases have been discharged and 1,522 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
