COVID-19: Nigeria records 10 new cases, total now 254,570

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 10 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 254,570

The NCDC disclosed this via its verified microsite on Tuesday.

Data from the health agency (NCDC) reveals that 11 coronavirus patients were successfully treated and discharged from the various treatment centres after receiving their second negative result.  

The 10 new cases are reported from 2 states of the federation.

Edo topped the day’s infections chart with 8 new cases followed by Cross River-2.

Till date, 254,570 have been confirmed 249,090 cases have been discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
