COVID-19: Nigeria records 11 new cases, total now 255,103

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 11 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 255,103.

The NCDC disclosed this via its verified microsite on Saturday.

Data from the health agency (NCDC) reveals that 3 coronavirus patients were successfully treated and discharged from the various treatment centres after receiving their second negative result.  

The 11 new cases were reported from 4 states of the federation.      

Lagos the epicentre of the virus in the country reported 8 new infections followed by Kaduna -1, Nasarawa -1 and Rivers -1.

Till date, 255,103 have been confirmed 249,460 cases have been discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
