COVID-19: Nigeria records 120 new cases total infections now 59,465

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday confirmed 120 new COVID-19 cases, bringing total number of infections in the country to 59,465.

Data from the health agency (NCDC) shows that 183 patients were successfully treated and discharged after recovering from the coronavirus.

The 120 new cases are reported from 12 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

Rivers recorded the day’s highest infections with 65 new cases followed by the FCT -12.

Other states with new cases include Ogun -9, Katsina -8, Anambra -7, Bauchi -5, Oyo -5, Nasarawa -3, Kaduna -2, Kwara -1, Taraba -1, Imo -1 and Delta -1

Till date, 59,465 cases have been confirmed, 50,951 cases have been discharged and 1,113 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
