COVID-19: Nigeria records 30 new cases, total now 213,177
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 30 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 213,177.
The NCDC disclosed this via its verified microsite on Monday.
Data from the health agency (NCDC) reveals that 38 coronavirus patients were successfully treated and discharged from the various treatment centres after receiving their second negative result.
The 30 new cases are reported from 8 states of the federation.
Abia topped the day’s infections chart with 9 new cases followed by Bauchi -7.
Other states with new cases include Kaduna-4, Kano-4, Cross River-2, Rivers-2, Bayelsa-1 and Jigawa-1.
Till date, 213,177 cases have been confirmed 205,770 cases have been discharged and 2,968 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
