COVID-19: Nigeria records 410 new cases, 4 deaths

Nigeria recorded 410 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Tuesday, bringing total infections in the country to 49,895.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed via its microsite, said 4 new deaths were recorded in the country.

The 410 new cases were reported from 15 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

Lagos the epic centre of the virus in the country recorded 210 new cases while FCT reported new 45 infections.

Other states with new cases include: Ondo -30, Plateau -21, Edo -19, Ogun -16, Oyo -13, Nasarawa -12, Bauchi -11, Enugu -10, Kwara -7, Kaduna -6, Anambra -4, Ebonyi -3, Abia -2, Rivers -1

Till date, 49,895 cases have been confirmed, 37,051 cases have been discharged and 981 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
