COVID-19: Nigeria records 453 new cases, zero deaths
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday reported 453 new cases of COVID-19, pushing total number of infections in the nation to 47,743.
According to the health agency, no deaths were recorded on Aug. 12.
The 453 new cases are reported from 15 states and the Federal Capital Territory. (FCT)
Lagos State recorded 113 new cases, the highest of the total 453 new infections across Nigeria in the last 24 hours.

Till date, 47,743 cases have been confirmed, 33,943 cases have been discharged and 956 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
