COVID-19: Nigeria records 49 new cases, total now 165,468

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 49 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 165,468.

The NCDC made this known on Monday via its official twitter handle.

Data from the health agency (NCDC) reveals that 21 coronavirus patients were successfully treated from the various treatment centres after receiving their second negative result.

The 49 new cases are reported from 3 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

FCT topped the day’s infections chart with 27 new cases followed by Lagos -11, Enugu -8, and Oyo -3

Till date, 165,468 cases have been confirmed, 156,318 cases have been discharged and 2,065 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
