COVID-19: Youth organization provides support for vulnerable in Osun

A non-governmental organization “Get Inspired Network” has put smile on the faces of vulnerable in the community through a Covid-19 Relief Support Initiative.

 The convener of the initiative, Sunday Odejobi, while speaking with our correspondence said it was not until one has much before one could render assistance to the less privilege in the society.

In his words, “Get Inspired Network (GIN) is only trying to cushion the effect of the total lockdown directive given by the Osun State government in its bid to curtail the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic ravaging countries of the world”

“I champion the exercise by calling on friends and family to donate towards the project and make them see reasons why they should support the exercise."

"In order to cushion the effect of the total lockdown directive given by the state government, we started a Covid-19 Relief Materials Initiative some days ago wherein its objectives include extending a helping hand to the vulnerable in our community."

According to the conveners, the first phase of the relief materials had been distributed while the second batch will be done next week.

They then call on all and sundry who have the capacity to render assistance to kindly do so.
