FUNAAB begins new academic session, April 3

The Senate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, at its meeting of Thursday, March 30th, 2023, approved academic calender for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

This was disclosed in a circular released by the University Registrar, Dr. 'Bola Adekola.

According to the Registrar, registration, medical screenings, information and communication technology training and orientation for fresh students would start from Monday, April 3rd till Friday, April 14th, 2023 while registration for returning students would start and end on the same date.

It added that first semester lectures for returning and fresh students would begin from Monday, April 17th, 2023 and end on Friday, June 23rd, 2023, to be followed by first semester examinations on Monday, July 3rd, 2023, and it would end by Friday, July 23rd, 2023.

Second semester lectures would start by Monday, July 31st, 2023 and end Friday, October 6th, 2023 to be followed immediately by second semester examinations, which would start on Monday, October 16th, 2023 and end by Friday, October 27th, 2023.

Meanwhile, the 74th and 75th inaugural lectures of the University have been fixed for Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, and Wednesday, May 10th, 2023, among others, Dr. Adekola added.
