Gov. Fayemi test negative for COVID-19

Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi has tested negative for COVID-19.

Fayemi disclosed this via its twitter handle early Saturday morning.

 “After 11 days in isolation, I received the news that my COVID-19 repeat test came back negative.

My sincere gratitude goes to Almighty, my fmily, my medical team and all well wishers for the prayers and solidarity. We must continue to do all we can to tackle the pandemic.”  

Fayemi had on July 22 announced that he has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus and will be self-isolating.
