Lagos discharges 24 COVID-19 patients

The Lagos state government says it has discharged another 24 COVID-19 patients from the various isolation centres to reunite with the society after testing negative twice to the virus.

The Lagos Ministry of Health on its twitter handle said all the patients are Nigerians.

The 24 patients consist of 9 females and 15 males.

The patients, 4 from Onikan, 1 from Gbagada, 1 from Agidingbi and 18 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation centres having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19.

With this, the number of COVID-19 cases successfully managed and discharged in Lagos State has risen to 952.
