Olowu, Temitope Adeola, 2 others bag fellowship award
The Olowu of Owu, Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola, Oluyalo Otileta VII, and wife of the Senator representing Ogun West senatorial district, Mrs Yetunde Adeola are to be conferred with Fellowship awards at the forthcoming 25th convocation ceremony of the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta on March 7, 2024.
Addressing journalists on Monday, the College Provost, Dr. Rafiu Adekola Soyele flanked by some management members including the Deputy Provost, Dr RA Badru, college registrar, Dr G.A Adebayo, and the college bursar M.O Bakare FCA said the conferment forms a part of the programs put in place for the 25th convocation and 48th founders day celebration of the college.
Other awardees include a philanthropist and social crusader for equity and justice, Dr Gideon Chidiebere Osi and the immediate past Provost of the college Dr Adetayo Ajayi in recognition for their far reaching contributions to education in the nation.
Soyele stated that prizes will be awarded to students and staffs of the college who has distinguished themselves in their respective fields/ areas.
