Ondo State House of Assembly aspirant tasks party on credible primaries

An All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant aiming to return to the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Akindele Adeniyi (APC- Akure North), has called for credible primary election.

He said in Akure on Monday after obtaining his Nomination and Expression of Interest forms that it was the only way popular aspirants would emerge as candidates.

The aspirant said he was well-equipped to continue to represent the people of his constituency considering the experience he had acquired.

“So far, I am the most experienced among my fellow aspirants for the Akure North Constituency in the state’s House of Assembly.

“My service before makes the people attest to my capacity and ability, and so they want me to represent them again.

“The feedback is that they enjoyed my representation and style of delivering my promises to them.

“This is the reason why they are begging me to re-contest,’’ Adeniyi said.

He said his knowledge of legislative duties and Ondo State politics had greatly improved, saying that “these values will enable me to advance more dividends of democracy’’.

He applauded the leadership of the APC in Ondo State for working to ensure that credible primary polls were held by the party.

“I appreciate the party’s leadership for creating a level playing field for all aspirants vying for different positions

“My party leaders too in Akure North Constituency have assured me that everybody can contest,’’ Adeniyi said.
