Osun pays diverted 57 months salaries of judiciary staff

The Osun State Government has approved the payment of the 57-months diverted salaries of some judiciary staff in the state.

According to a statement of the state government’s official X handle, the payment was on humanitarian grounds

“The payment already effected was in response to the harsh economic conditions of the affected staff of the state judiciary.”

The government added that the measure was taken while the workers await the outcome of the ongoing investigation by the National Judicial Council (NJC).
