Oyo discharges 95 COVID-19 patients
The Oyo State government says it has discharged 95 COVID-19 patients from its isolation centres after receiving their second negative results, bringing the number of discharged cases in the state to 271.
The State Governor, Seyi Makinde disclosed this on Saturday via his twitter handle.
You could recall that NCDC on Friday night said 35 new cases were reported from Oyo state.
Gov. Makinde gave the breakdown of the local government where the cases were recorded as, Ido (7), Ibadan SW (5), Ibadan North (5), Ibadan NW (5) Oluyole (3), Ibadan NE (3), Ibadan SE (3), Egbeda (3) and Ogbomosho North (1).
As of Saturday, Oyo had recorded 469 cases of the coronavirus with 7 persons losing their lives to the virus.
