SOSSAN OAU set to hold summit
Social Studies Students Association of Nigeria (SOSSAN), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is set to hold her annual summit slated for March 30 2023 at the new Environmental Design and Management Boardroom within the campus premises.
Theme: “The wrongs of yesteryears: Could Social Studies redrive the wheel? ”
The Ife SOSSAN summit 3.0 would be anchored on majorly on two pillars- Reflection on the mistakes of the past and the possible way forward to having a better nation.
The summit would seek to elicit ideas on the essence of Social Studies, not forgetting the colossal role of Social Studies as a discipline which could help her students, policy experts, teachers and youths to play a significant role amidst the daunting task of building a better Nigeria.
This summit shall have in attendance students meticulously drawn from higher institutions of learning in Nigeria.
The much anticipated summit would create a platform for critical dialogue, deliberation and introspection from various perspectives and ideological dimensions by students and experts as well. It will help to conscentize SOSSANITES and Non- SOSSANITES on the invaluable role they have to play in the building of a saner Nigerian Society among others
The summit promises to be fun, educative, thought provoking and highly beneficial to all participants as there would be a Certificate of participation, a free platform for networking.
