Thank you for finding me worthy, Gbajabiamila tells Tinubu
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila has pledged to effectively discharge his duties as the Chief of Staff to the President in ensuring peace and progress in Nigeria.
President Bola Tinubu had earlier in the day approved new appointments into his cabinet a few days after his inauguration.
The appointees are Femi Gbajabiamila, as the new Chief of Staff to the President, while Ibrahim Hadejia, a former Jigawa state deputy governor, is the Deputy Chief of Staff.

The new CoS took to his official twitter handle to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding him “worthy of being your Chief of Staff.”
“Having spent the last 20 years in the Nigerian Parliament, and after winning my 6th term election into the National Assembly, I shall work with Mr. President in discharging the enormous task ahead of him for the peace and progress of the federal republic of Nigeria,” he tweeted.
He promised to give his best as he takes office on June 14 2023.
