Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has dissociated the state from being among the states in the South West that rejected the palliatives donated by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.

Two persons have died from covid-19 related complications in Osun

Ondo State Government has complained that part of the rice given to the state as palliative for the lockdown occasioned by the Coronavirus Disease has expired.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the weekend, said the state’s mortuaries are getting filled and congested, urging owners of corpses in the state’s morgues to pick them for burial in line with the protocol established in the management of COVID-19 in the country.

The Nigeria Custom has denied and disassociate itself from reports by the Oyo state government that they supplied rice that had been infested with weevils to the state through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management as palliative to the vulnerable in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic

The Oyo State government has confirmed the second COVID-19-related death in the state.
