Akeredolu sacks Ondo Attorney-General, appoints replacement
Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has fired Adekola Olawoye, SAN, as the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney-General of the State in what he called a cabinet rejig.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Segun Ajiboye, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday that Ajiboye will be replaced by Charles Titiloye.
Titiloye who was a former Secretary of the Nigerian Bar of Association, NBA, Akure Branch, is a human right activist and a renowned social critic in the state.
Titiloye's name will soon be forwarded to the state's House of Assembly for confirmation, according to Ajiboye.
According to the statement, “Mr. Governor, thanks the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice that has just been removed for services rendered to the state.
He wishes him success in his future endeavours.”
