Ekiti 2022: It’s time for a female governor - Kemi-Halle, ADP candidate
The candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the June 18 governorship election in Ekiti State, Engr. Kemi Elebute-Halle has said it is time for a female to emerge governor of the state after the expiration of the present administration.
The Ayedun-Ekiti born governorship hopefully made this statement during a chat with journalists in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where she also urged the people of the state to brace up and tighten their belts for the task ahead by doing the needful to move the state forward.
Elebute-Halle who described women as the best and managers of human and capital resources assured that women will perform better than men if given the chance to man the affairs of Ekiti come June this year. She charged the people of the state to support her for the state to experience tremendous development
She observed that the two political parties that have been exchanging the baton of leadership in the state between themselves since creation have tried their best but have not taken Ekiti to the deserved promised land.
“We appreciate our men, they have tried their best in the leadership affairs of the state but they should give women a chance to use our God-given managerial skills to it do better, ” she opined.
Kemi-Halle who is the founder of Dominion group, reassured her supporters and all Ekiti indigenes of her continuous support at ensuring rapid socio-economic development in all nooks and crannies of the state if voted as governor come June 2022.
