Ondo Guber: APC pegs nomination forms at N50m

The ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) has released time table and the party’s schedule of activities preparatory for November 16 governorship election in Ondo State, with the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms pegged at N50 million.

While the nomination form sells for N40m, the Expression of Interest form goes for N10m. However there is fifty percent slash for Women and Disabled aspirants who must be due paying members of the party. Purchase of delegate form is is for N5000.

 The statement reads; “As part of the activities, the party has also scheduled Monday 18th of March, 2024 as date for the update of its Membership Register in Ondo, declaring that only members whose names appear on the Register and are up to date in the payment of their membership dues over the past one year up to April, 2024 will be eligible to vote and be voted for.”

“The Sale of Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms has been fixed for April 3rd while the Last day for submission of completed to Governorship Nomination Form, Expression of Interest Forms, and accompanying documents and submission of Delegate Forms is fixed for 10th and 12th.”

The Screening of Aspirants is fixed for Saturday 20th April, 2023 and Guber primary scheduled for Friday 25th April.
