PDP extends sale of forms, reschedules screening exercises

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the extension of sales of Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for all elective offices in the 2023 general elections from the initial date of Friday, April 1, 2022 to a new date of Friday, April 8, 2022.

The National Organizing Secretary of the party, Umar Bature, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.

The statement was titled, ‘Extension of Sales of Forms and Rescheduling of Screening Exercises’.

The party also said, “The last day for the Return of already completed Forms and Screening Exercises for both the State House of Assembly and National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives) are rescheduled” to April 10, 2022, while the screening of State of House of Assembly and National Assembly aspirants was also moved to April 12 and 14, 2022 respectively.

All other dates remain as already published.

For the avoidance of doubt, the last day for purchase of all Forms is now fixed for FRIDAY, April 8, 2022.
