The Ondo State Government on Monday said that the Dr Olusegun Mimiko- led Peoples Democratic Party administration left N220 bn debt at the end of its tenure in 2016.
The All Progressives Congress administration in the state however said it had reduced the debt by 50 per cent.
The Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State Ade Adetimehin is confident the party will excel in all political contests in 2020.
According to him, the party would enjoy easy ride to victory in all elections.
A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Mr Jimi Odimayo, has alleged that the lingering crisis rocking the party in the state cannot be resolved by the Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

A Law maker representing Ondo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Nicholas Tofowomo, has predicted that the Peoples Democratic Party will defeat the All Progressives Congress in the 2020 governorship election in the state.
