Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, has called for the resignation of the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu, saying it will give the people of the South a sense of belonging in the party.

Mr Charles Aniagwu, Spokesman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, says sacking the party National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, would have deepened the party’s crisis.
