Bearish sentiment resurfaced at the Nigerian stock market on Monday, following sell-off in some bank stocks such as Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, Access Bank, First Bank of Nigeria Holdings (FBNH), among others.
Investors at the equities market gained N6 billion, or 0.02 per cent on Friday, as market capitalisation closed the week at N27.941 trillion against N27.935 trillion posted the previous day.
The market capitalisation gained N47 billion on Friday as trading on the Nigeria Exchange (NGX) Ltd. closed at N27.875 trillion recorded the previous day.
