Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has promised to commit huge resources into sports development in order to develop more talents, nurture them to national and global reckoning as well as for wealth creation.

Oyo State Government on Wednesday in Ibadan announced the appointment of Ayodeji Ayeni as the new Technical Adviser of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso.

The Ogun State Government has commenced reconstruction and renovation works on the MKO Abiola International Stadium and the Alake Sports Centre, Ijeja, Abeokuta, ahead of the National Sports Festival (NSF), tagged "2024 Gateway Games."

The Federal Government has approved January, 2025, as the official date for the 22nd edition of the National Sports Festival, tagged, “Gateway Games, Ogun 2024”.
