The Police Command in Lagos State on Sunday said it arrested 1,872 people in the last two weeks, over violation of the restriction order in place to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Prof. Eddy Olanipekun, says the institution will not flout the Federal Government’s directive on the nationwide shutting down of universities to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The management of Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Ikorodu, says whoever will succeed the current rector must be capable of taking the institution to the next level.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun Command, on Sunday said about 776  traffic offenders were apprehended for various offences during the lockdown order to curb the spread of COVID-19.
