A 36 year old man, Ikechuwku Ibeh, has plunged into the Lagos Lagoon from Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge in a bid to commit suicide.

A teenager and eight others have been arrested by the police for allegedly carrying out cult activities and causing residents to flee their home.
