Tragedy struck in Ibadan on Friday, when three children of same parents were killed in a midnight inferno after they were said to have been locked inside their apartment located at Ehin Grammar Area of Molete, Ibadan.

Men of the Nigeria Police, Ekiti State command have arrested a 23 year old student of the Crown Polytechnic, Odo , Ado - Ekiti , Joseph Emmanuel, for allegedly raping two female students at gunpoint.

No fewer than four persons were confirmed dead while four others sustained injuries in a lone accident around Pipeline Junction, Ogere, Ogun, on Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, the Spokesperson for Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abeokuta on Thursday.

The Management of the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has called for caution from its students following the alleged murder of one of the institution’s final-year-female students.

It also urged them to remain calm to allow the law enforcement agents conclude their investigation into the matter.
