COVID-19: Nigeria records 43 new cases, total now 165,944
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 43 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 165,944.
The NCDC disclosed this via its official twitter handle on Friday.
Data from the health agency (NCDC) reveals that 3 coronavirus patients were successfully treated and discharged from the various treatment centres across the nation.
The 43 new cases are reported from 4 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
Lagos the epicentre of the virus in the country reported 32 new infections followed by Rivers-7, FCT-2, Akwa Ibom-1 and Kaduna-1
Till date, 165,944 cases have been confirmed, 156,462 cases have been discharged and 2,067 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
