No nation grows beyond its quality of education - Provost
The Provost, Federal College of Education, Dr Rafiu Adekola Soyele, has said no nation can rise above its educational development.
Dr Soyele stated this during the Jumat service held at the College’s central mosque to usher in the 25th Convocation Ceremony and 48th founders’ day ceremony of the college.
The provost while addressing the congregation urged them to always give their best at there various duty posts.
He charged all stakeholders in the FCE Project never to rest on their oars, because the college is known as the centre of academic excellence and the most peaceful higher institution of learning in the state.
Speaking earlier, the Chief Imam of the College, Dr T.O Salaudeen, felicitated the College management, graduands, parents and guardians while delivering his Sermon, he charged the people to add good character to their qualifications for it to be useful. Because, “quality education with bad character will not take you anywhere.”
Dr Soyele also appreciated the Founding Fathers and mothers of the College for their selfless service and sacrifices over the years, while he equally congratulated all other stakeholders, those that shared FCE’s dream from the beginning and those that joined along the line to watch her grow.
