Osun Govt gives looters amnesty window or face prosecution

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has declared 72 hours amnesty period for looters of individuals and private property to return their loots or face the consequence of the law.

Governor Oyetola stated this in Osogbo after monitoring the extent of damaged and looting in the state.

The governor who described the act of the hoodlums as armed robbery said any person who failed to return the loot within 72 hours would face full wrath of law.

He noted that government would do everything within its limit to support individual and industries affected by the attack.

Governor oyetola urged residents to maintain peace as government had put machineries in motion to return normalcy in the state.

The visit took the governor to Tuns farm, Osun mall, Omoluabi garment company, All Progressive Congress secretariat, Ileri Oluwa campaign office in Osogbo as well as Federal Government grain reserve facility in Ilesa.
