Ogun schools resume on Monday

The Ogun state government has directed all schools in the state to resume academic activities from tomorrow, Monday, 26th October, 2020.

A statement signed by Kunle Somorin, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun, says the directive followed a review of situation in the state.

“The State Government had earlier last week, declared all schools closed in the wake of rising tensions that followed nationwide protests.

With peace returned to all parts of the State after organisers suspended protests in the State, Government has no reservations, whatsoever in reopening schools tomorrow” the statement reads.
