Excellent greetings to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his Administration’s resolve to solve the problem of Federal Allocations to Local Governments once and for all. The suit filed by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Alhaji Lateef Fagbemi, at the Supreme Court of Nigeria against the 36 state Governors is a welcome development.

The huge gap between the immediate past Mr Oyetola APC administration and the incumbent Gov. Adeleke PDP administration in Osun State is now clearly shown to Osun citizenry. 

The average State Government in Southern Nigeria is not seriously interested in Agriculture. But up North, the commitment is real. And, it did not start yesterday. It predated the current civilian administration in the country.

Indigenes of Oyo town have continuously suffered and lamented the poor state of road networks in the town and its just so unfortunate that most of the roads rarely survive up to 3 raining seasons after their construction.

Many residents of Ibadan, the sprawling capital city of Oyo State, won’t forget in a hurry, what befell them on Tuesday, January 16, when dynamites stored in a residential area exploded and shattered the relative peace in the state.

Many Nigerians are going through hell on earth. This is due to the traumatic experiences of residents, commuters, and motorists daily on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Since the reconstruction of the road began in 2009, many lives have been lost to road carnage while armed robbers play ludo with the lives of Nigerians whenever there is traffic gridlock on the road. The number of man-hours wasted, and the mental stress many have been subjected to on that road is, to say the least, harrowing.
